Hand wash. Hand wash with cold water and avoid using hot water, as hot water may cause certain fabrics (such as silk) to wrinkle more easily.
Gently wash. Gently rub the skirt, avoiding forceful pulling or twisting to avoid damaging the fabric fibers.
Avoid machine washing. Do not use a washing machine to wash fabrics that are prone to wrinkling, as the strong stirring and drying of the washing machine can cause the skirt to lose its original shape.
Lay flat and air dry. After washing, lay the skirt flat and tidy up the wrinkles. Avoid using hangers or dryers, as these methods may cause wrinkles to deform.
Use a softener. Softening agents can be added during washing to help keep the skirt soft and flat.
Avoid direct sunlight. When drying and storing skirts, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading or yellowing.
Regularly iron. Before wearing, use a hanging iron machine to carefully iron the skirt to maintain its flatness.
Classify washing. Dark and light colored dresses should be washed separately, while fragile fabrics such as silk should be soaked and washed separately.
Reduce washing frequency. Try to reduce the frequency of washing as much as possible, unless there are obvious stains or odors, frequent washing will damage the fabric.
